Colt Mustang, .380 ACP

An older pistol that Colt made mostly in the '80's, I believe. It's a good backup piece and only holds 5 rounds. But it shoots good and would be nice to have in a pinch.

Is this a Mustang Limited Edition?
I owned one that looked just like it. It came with pearl grips but they broke when I fired it the five or six times it was fired. I bought a set of Pachmayr grips but they would not work. Since the Limited Edition was produced in such LIMITED quantities Pachmayr did not make a grip that would fit it. The regular Mustang Pocketlite had a skeleton frame and the Limited had a solid frame. I took the Packmayr grips made for the Pocketlite which was made to fit into the skeleton frame and I ground off the back portion which recessed in the frame so the grip was then flat on the back. Perfect fit. I still have the orginal case, cardboard box, extra mag and pearl grips and letter from Colt. If this gun is for sale I would be interested.
